Above are examples of my exterior drawings for the drawing physical production lesson.
I chose to do this of my own back garden at home.
The angle from which i was observing was tricky as there was a sort of "looking up" and slightly diagonal across the garden. But I was keen to try to incorporate the depth the to stone brick wall that runs horizontally across the page.
The level of detail on the grass if however compromised as I have struggled to find this texture difficult to portray with pencil and paper.
If I was to tackle this sort of background again, I think i would chose a less realistic approach, so visually it would still resemble a similar scene but more vague and sketched.
