
When researching my studio project; I came across a new blogging craze titled "what's in my bag".
In this, people empty the contents of their handbags in an unorganised/ sprawled way in order to demonstrate when they carry with them daily. This was something done by an individual or even someone with a celebrity status.
US weekly magazine conduct a section of their publication to exposing the content of celebrities bags by showing their items in this way. It links the average person, to someone mundane that a celebrity also has, in order to associate similar patterns between. E.g. While everyone's personal items are different- they fundamentally carry items which possess the same functions.
This is shown above.
Below is another format of displaying the same items. This links closely to "grids" as a topic. But also demonstrates that how something is presented is essential to ease visually absorbing what is presented. Above is a cluttered image, whereas below is systematic and can be observed methodically.
